INTRODUCING: LUMO ENERGY REIMAGINED 2022 PODCAST SERIES

Today (8th March) was supposed to be the first ever in-person LUMO Energy Reimagined Symposium.

While it is unfortunate that we can’t see our LUMO speakers, partners and attendees in the flesh, we won’t let this stop us having the conversations that we need to have.

In service of Energy Academy’s goal of telling a better story, LUMO was born to:

  • bring a diverse group of people to the stage to explore the big ideas facing energy,

  • generate a new network of individuals passionate about a positive energy future for Aotearoa,

  • illuminate energy’s influence on humanity, and,

  • shift the national narrative so that energy is a place that everyone wants to be a part of.

This series aims to do just that. We’re excited to deliver freely accessible, quality learning opportunities, from our 50+ speakers - covering critical topics across our four major themes: Energy and Humanity, Just Transition, Energy Tomorrow and Energy’s Future Story.

We recorded the first one this morning (see photos below) and if this was anything to go by, we think it is safe to say you won’t want to miss this series.

A big thank you to:

Our speakers for your flexibility and enthusiasim.

Our partners for your support - Orion, Genesis Energy, Ara Ake, Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (EECA), Ministry of Social Development, Ara Institute of Canterbury, BoConcept, Future Architecture of the Network, Northpower, Young Energy Professionals Network and Connetics.

Our followers and ticketholders for your understanding. We hope you are as excited about this new opportunity as we are.

Ngā mihi nui
